About Kowloon Story (Hong Kong 2009, 5min.)

A lonely woman leaves a trail of colorful origami in her struggle against the gray anonymity of a metropolis.

I have made movies in Malaysia and Germany for next to nothing. But everybody kept saying Hong Kong is different. Everybody wants money. I lived in Hong Kong for almost a year and couldn't believe it. Kowloon Story was a test to see if the statement was true. It's not. Kowloon Story was shot in one day without ANY money (not a cent).
